Terms of Service

Last updated 5 October 2026

1. Who you're agreeing with

EditorFlow is operated by Scucci Projects, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 95910352, registered address Ruijgenhoeksepolder 50, 3453 NG De Meern. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

2. What EditorFlow is

EditorFlow is a business-management tool for solo freelance video editors — proposals, contracts, a client portal, invoicing, and project tracking. It's built for one editor per account, not teams or studios.

3. What EditorFlow is not

  • Not your archive. We don't store raw footage, project files or archives. On Pro you can upload a review copy of a cut, which is cleared 7 days after the project closes, and a final file for your client to download, which stays available for 90 days. Everything else stays wherever you already keep it. Keep your own copies of anything you upload — EditorFlow is not a backup.
  • Not a payment processor. We never touch, hold, or process a client's payment to you. You paste your own payment link (Stripe Payment Link, PayPal, or similar) onto each invoice, money goes directly to you, and marking an invoice "paid" is always a manual action you take yourself. We are not a party to that payment and take no responsibility for it.
  • Not a certified e-signature provider. Contract signatures are a lightweight electronic signature — typed name, timestamp, and IP address — sufficient for typical freelance client work, but not a certified digital signature for high-stakes legal documents.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you enter — including anything that ends up on a legal document, like an invoice or contract you send to your own clients. EditorFlow is a tool; the agreements, invoices, and client relationships it helps you manage are yours, not ours.

5. Plans & billing

EditorFlow offers a paid Pro plan, billed monthly or annually, and a Free plan. New accounts start with a Pro trial with no card required: every Pro feature, with uploads and the review player on your first 2 projects; a project you start for yourself as a test client doesn't count. The trial ends when you start a project after those 2, or 30 days after you sign up, whichever comes first. Your account then reverts to Free unless you subscribe. Trial projects keep uploads and the review player until 30 days after you signed up, and never count toward the Free plan's limit of active projects. You can cancel or change your subscription anytime through the billing portal in Settings — no phone call, no retention flow. Downgrading from Pro to Free never deletes your proposals, contracts, invoices or projects: anything over the Free plan's limits is archived, not removed, and becomes available again the moment you upgrade. One exception: video you uploaded for review during a trial is kept 14 days after those 30 days and then removed, unless you subscribe. We email you when the trial ends and again before the video is removed. Final files delivered to your clients are not affected.

Prices shown are exclusive of VAT, added at checkout for EU customers per applicable law. Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where required by law.

6. Your clients' data

You control what client data you enter into EditorFlow, and you're responsible for having a legal basis to process it (typically, your own contract with that client). We process it on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy and our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms. Your client's portal access is scoped to their own data only, enforced at the database level.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use EditorFlow to send spam, to impersonate someone else, to violate anyone's legal rights, or to attempt to access another editor's or client's data. We may suspend or terminate an account that does.

8. Termination

You can close your account anytime by emailing us from the address on your account; we delete it within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Invoices are retained after account closure for the legally required 7-year period even though the rest of your data is deleted.

9. Liability

EditorFlow is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we're not liable for lost footage that lived only on a third-party service you linked to, for a payment dispute between you and your client, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll email you before a material change takes effect. The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in the Netherlands.
